I would suggest you get a curl activator gel. (note, this is different from a styling gel) the first ingredients on the curl activator gel should be aqua and glycerin.

If you find the gel too greasy (as I did), get a spray bottle, fill it with about 30% curl activator, 70% water (and shake) if you wish, you could add a few drops of your favourite oils. I tend to use jojoba oil or lavender oil. however this is optional!
